 Biographie:

Adam Goulet est guitariste montréalais, originaire de North Bay Ontario, qui maîtrise plusieurs genres musicaux, comme le jazz, le classique, le blues, le rock, le country, la salsa et la timba. Il est diplômé en jazz à Humber College (Toronto), et il a complété son baccalauréat en interprétation classique à l’Université de Montréal. Il s’est perfectionné auprès de Eli Kassner, Lorne Lofsky, Celso Machado, et John Roney. Actif sur la scène montréalaise depuis plus que dix ans, il joue, et a joué avec des artistes aussi variés que Neisy Wilson, Timba MM, Bumaranga, Ramon y Su Son, Angélique Duruisseau, Karine Deschamps et Roads. Il est également compositeur/arrangeur et se perfectionne dans ces approches là en se organisant une soirée mensuelle (avec sextet et chanteurs-ses / instrumentistes invité-ées) pour laquelle il est arrangeur principal, ainsi qu’en se présentant sur scéne en solo comme chanteur/compositeur.

Biography:

Adam is a Montreal guitarist, originally from North Bay Ontario, with a fluency in several musical idioms, such as jazz, classical, blues, rock, country, salsa and timba. He obtained his diploma from Humber College (Toronto) in jazz, and his BA in classical performance at University of Montreal. His mentors have been many, most notably Eli Kassner, Lorne Lofsky, Celso Machado and John Roney. He has been active on the Montreal music scene for over 10 years, playing with groups and musicians such as Neisy Wilson, Timba MM, Bumaranga, Ramon y su Son, Angélique Duruisseau, Karine Deschamps, and Roads. He is also a songwriter/arranger and is developping in these fields as well, performing his songs as a solo artist, as well as organizing a regular evening of arrangements for 3 horns, rhythm section, and various guest vocalists and instrumentalists.
